Interesting about trees

I quite enjoy reading about tree law cases, particularly in the UK and US. Developers or neighbours often chop down large trees they feel are in the way, not realising that if you cut down a heritage tree, you can end up having to pay hundreds of thousands in fines, fees and replacement trees.

But I was also tickled at these two:

This tree in Pakistan has been under arrest since 1898


And this tree owns itself and the land around it
