Wonders will never cease…

…I have started ordering washi tape!

I usually block off public holidays in my calendar with washi tape so that I know not to book lessons then, and also remind myself that 10-week courses will finish later if there are public holidays during their duration.

I also put a small piece of tape on birthdays and anniversaries so that I can remember them.

I have been using tape in my Hobonichi Weeks as well – along the bottom of pages and demarcating certain categories.

I ordered a couple of rolls from a local hobby store and it is quite nice to look at the cheerful colours in my calendar. I guess during these gloomy times, we need all the cheer we can get.

  1. Janet, I’m interested to know how you use your weeks in combination with your other planner (your rings).

My use of washi fluctuates!!! It is extremely useful though, I must admit ☺️

    1. They don’t really have much to do with each other, topic-wise. My ring planner is for work – bookings and to-dos. My Weeks is for self-care and trackers. Now that I am working at home all the time I have them both beside me all the time. Hope this helps!

  2. The only page I allow myself to prettify with washi and functional stickers is my daily page. You’re right ….. in these grim lockdowns we all need cheerful things.
