I come from a small town in South Africa, and our local jeweller used to have one of these African puzzles in pewter in his window. We were a poor town so I don’t think he ever sold one – they are pricey in South African money. I used to visit it all the time though and wish I could afford it.
The Africa puzzle is a display case containing a puzzle made up of almost 40 African animals. Almost all of them are able to be worn as pendants, so there is a chain included. I imagined wearing whatever animal felt right for each day.
