My sweet Ki-Ki (RIP) was not much of a talker, nor did she purr – which was so strange because I thought ALL cats purred, how naive I was. My thought was that she was probably abandoned at a very young age by her mama and/or didn’t have littermates to socialize or bounce off of.
One of the sounds that she made that was endearing was the cat activation noise, which you can hear a close of approximation of what Ki-Ki sounded like, but a more subdued version because she was an introvert, like me ———> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gaRdpuS_V8 She usually made the sound when I touched her and she didn’t expect it. =D
