Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing Butterfly

With a wingspan of up to 11 inches, the Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing is the biggest butterfly in the world — and it’s also one of the rarest. Found only in the forests of Papua New Guinea, it has a wingspan of up to 11 inches/28cm. Read more here
