Just bought a new kikoi

I have had the same kikoi for about 13 years now and it is getting holes in it now from washing and wearing it so often. So I took myself to the local African shop and bought another one. I was planning on getting one in South Africa but our trip has been cancelled due to COVID-19 and I use them a lot in summer so I found this pretty one in Stockholm.

I use mine as a beach towel, blanket/sheet on hot nights, wrapped around me after the shower, as a sarong. You can also use it as a halter-neck dress or the traditional way, around your waist. You can even use it as a curtain!

My cats used to love sleeping on my old one.

  1. Have you seen these things in Africa? Janet lives in Stockholm, but was born in South Africa. She certainly gets her money’s worth out of them.Clare xxSent from Samsung tablet.
