We are so happy in our new home. It is a dream to keep clean, close to everything, but set in huge gardens. I have never had a dishwasher or automatic washing machine before – ever. I have always washed dishes by hand, and only washing machine I have ever had has been a twin-tub from the 1970s. So all I want to do now is wash dishes and clothes!
I love our view. The first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night is look at our water. It calms me.
Our bedroom is blue and white, and we have an extra wide bed (210cm wide and 200 long) so that the two of us and the two cats can all fit on it.
Our housing association is made up of two U-shaped blocks with two smaller buildings in the middle. We are in the middle building so we are in the middle of the huge garden. We live opposite an area that is part-industrial with a working harbour, and part new fancy housing development

It’s just the two of us and the two cats and we love it. What we use doesn’t fit the dishwasher, but it is a big one. You could get a smaller one if you feel you don’t have enough dishes. I have never had one before and I am so glad to get rid of the countless hours I have spent and would have spent on washing dishes!
