The Teacher black trousers

I showed these to my husband a few weeks ago because I was tickled at the name, and he bought them for me. Good thing too, because I have gone up two sizes, which is the pleasure and peril of living with someone who cooks like a dream. Some of my winter clothes also disappeared storage recently, so I have something nice and new to wear now Plus every time I wear them I will smile at the inside waistband label that no one else can see.

I love being a teacher. I taught my first class in 1981, and have been teaching full time since 1991. I truly believe it is a calling. Not everyone who is good at something can teach it. I may not be good at things, but I am a good teacher. Proof perhaps that those who can, do, and those who can’t, teach.

  1. My daughter is a 4th year teacher…A HS choral Director…and yes! It absolutely is a calling! It is a very challenging career choice at times, but she does love what she does..and she is incredibly good at her job! Sadly, she has to work a second job to help her remain independent. I think I will have to see if I can find these “perfect” pants for her! 😊

  2. Hi Janet, I love the slim pants because I have skinny legs. What type of closure do they have and are they the trouser type? Where did you purchase these, if you don’t mind my asking? Would I find these in the U.S.? Also, do they sit at the natural waste? Thanks for any answers you may have. They sound like a fit I would love!

    1. They have a button and zip closure and are more jeans in shape and style than trousers. I got them at a local store but I believe they may be a US brand – Dobber. They sit at the natural waist. So comfortable too!
