Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream

I am still in love with Astalift Jelly and Night Cream, which I have been using since 2013. I think Fujifilm’s move into skincare after the collapse of the photo-developing market was brilliant, PLUS their skincare is amazing.

Sometimes I try a new day cream though, and this is one of my all-time favourites. Benefit is not a brand I generally use, but I received a 15ml tub of this as a gift with purchase a number of years ago and loved it. It is very rich though so only for dry skins I would imagine.

I have dry skin so I need a day cream that not only moisturises when I put it on, but also keeps my skin feeling comfortable and not tight during the day. This one does the trick. It does not have sunscreen in it but I add one separately if I need to – usually Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF 50 which can be mixed with moisturiser or make-up.

  1. Hi Janet, are there any merchants that ship this? To United States? I have Sjogren’s and my skin is so dry. I’ve tried numerous products and I’ve yet to find one that helps. Thanks!

    1. Benefit is a US brand so you should be able to get it in most department stores. I bought mine at Sephora here in Sweden. If you mean Astalift, I buy mine on eBay now as it is becoming harder to find in Europe. It is one of Japan’s best selling brand but in the Europe they tend to only sell ‘cult’ brands for short periods before moving to the next one. If you are comfortable buying on eBay let me know and I can give you the name of the shop I use. I have been buying from her every few months for years. Her shipping is quick and her prices are excellent.

      1. Janet, thank you for your reply and I’d love to know the name of the eBay seller! Is the Astalift what you’d recommend for my severe dryness? Or would I need the Benefit also? I sure appreciate the offer!
