This is probably the weirdest medical procedure for pets that I’ve heard of, lol XD
I’m thinking maybe it’s for the owners, no? Growing up my dad would not allow my dog to get fixed… if I was old enough, maybe I would have had this procedure done so that we could both be content.
I have worked for a veterinarian for almost 20 years and have known 1 client that did this…..seemed pointless to me. The cost of the implants are almost as much as the cost of the surgery. I have yet to meet an animal that missed their testicles!
