I am now using washi tape!

I am not a decorator but for the past few years I have used strips of washi to mark off anything that takes a significant part of the day. It is much easier than writing down everything by hand.

I wind washi around an old plastic loyalty card and keep it in my cover.

Weeks that have this black tape across the bottom denote that I am not only teaching but also have a heavy workload for my Academic Project Manager role. I am responsible for all the teaching, course material, students, teachers, and logistics within the Swedish government offices, which entails a great deal of administration, meaning that I need to make sure my teaching load is not too heavy in those weeks.

I have Parliament groups that run from 9am to 2.30pm each Monday and Friday. Washi is quick and easy.

The Hobonichi does not have Swedish public holidays so I have washi tape on all the bank holidays to make sure I don’t book anything in on those days. This is important for groups with a total number of lessons because it means I need to add lessons on to the end of course and book rooms and other students accordingly.
