I am not a decorator but for the past few years I have used strips of washi to mark off anything that takes a significant part of the day. It is much easier than writing down everything by hand.
I wind washi around an old plastic loyalty card and keep it in my cover.
Weeks that have this black tape across the bottom denote that I am not only teaching but also have a heavy workload for my Academic Project Manager role. I am responsible for all the teaching, course material, students, teachers, and logistics within the Swedish government offices, which entails a great deal of administration, meaning that I need to make sure my teaching load is not too heavy in those weeks.I have Parliament groups that run from 9am to 2.30pm each Monday and Friday. Washi is quick and easy.The Hobonichi does not have Swedish public holidays so I have washi tape on all the bank holidays to make sure I don’t book anything in on those days. This is important for groups with a total number of lessons because it means I need to add lessons on to the end of course and book rooms and other students accordingly.
