New Year, New Hair

So…this happened

20cm off the bottom of my hair and lighter highlights. It will be much shorter than this when it is back to natural curls.

I always have my hair straightened when I cut it so the hairdresser can make sure it is cut straight. I have different types of curls so if my hair is cut when it is wet and beginning to curl, it often ends up uneven. It works best if it is cut when it is very wet, dried and then the ends cut a final time.

I do not like layers in my hair because they puff out. I cannot have a fringe (bangs) either because it makes me look like a sheep. So I generally tend to have it all one length.

I have gone to the same hairdresser for 16 years but decided to try something new. I was so nervous because hair disasters are horrible and often very hard to fix.
