BJØRG JEWELLERY was founded by Bjørg Nordli-Mathisen in 2004. Living in India at the time, she was introduced to the traditional craftsmanship and ancient jewellery traditions, which inspired her to start making her own one-of-a-kind jewellery. Her first collection was launched at Liberty in London. Today BJØRG is carried by high-end jewellers, fashion boutiques and galleries around the world. Raised in the northern part of Norway, BJØRG grew up in a little town above of the artic circle. I have always liked BJØRG jewellery. I have the rabbit ring above (it has rose-cut diamonds for eyes), and two charms like the one below. One with text and one with a black diamond. Her designs are raw and dark and remind you of the nature, particularly this far north in winter.
They are not pricey, often pop up on sales and some previous models are sought after on resale sites.
I also like BJØRG Shaker rings. They remind me a little of Chopard’s Happy Diamonds and also the Marc Jacobs Rattle ring.
The Shaker rings are gold plated silver and contain precious stones under sapphire glass. Some of them have little gold plated anatomical hearts among the stones.
The pendants have messages on links on the sides.
The Shaker series is more pricey, but I found some heavily discounted ones on Amazon for about $100. Given the fact that they are made of 925 silver and the stones are not great quality, $600 full price is way too high for me.
Do you really think these rings look anything like the Chopard’s Happy Diamonds rings? To me they have nothing in common in terms of design or quality.
There are many jewellers who use that method of a small window containing gems or stones, from the cheapest brands to the most expensive ones.
But here I think your comparison is not accurate. If you have ever held a Chopard ring then you know what I’m talking about.
No they don’t look alike but they are the only other rings I could think of that have precious stones under glass.
