MyMuesli

I love muesli. It is actually one of my few food weaknesses. Once I start eating it I can’t stop and it is usually loaded with calories (both the good and the bad kind, given that it often has a lot of sugar in it). I have to avoid it because I eat way too much. The actual portion size is a couple of tablespoons but I eat whole bowls of it. I tend to pick the bits I like and avoid the bits I don’t (the dusty fillers that so many manufacturers use to pad out the more expensive incredients, puffed oats and dried bananas)

So I tend to avoid MyMuesli, where you can mix your own muesli online (with the help of their ‘muesli consultants’) and collect it instore or have it shipped to you. It would be so easy to stuff myself to the gills on a daily basis because I have no self-restraint when it comes to muesli! I would pile it with nuts and raisins and roasted granola.

You can actually see the nutritional values in what you are ordering and  avoid ingredients you don’t like (I cannot stand dried bananas and they seem very popular in store-bought muesli). Despite that I still avoid it given my muesli-greed!

  1. Haha I have a muesli addiction too! They used to have a muesli donut in McDonald’s in Austria. Had one all the time!
