I’m sure I’ve stayed in a hotel where there were stairs with that insane (and possibly dangerous!) carpet…
And a hotel where I stay quite regularly has a lift in which, until it was recently refurbished, one needed to press the “2” button to get to the ground floor. Now in the new lift, it’s labelled “G”, but confusingly one exits the lift onto a corridor which still clearly insists that one is on floor 2…
