I am alway keen to try new Nivea products. Probably because I grew up with plain old Nivea Creme in the blue tin. It was usually the only moisturiser in our house and was used by everyone for everything from sunburn to dry elbows! The smell reminds me of growing up.
I also like Nivea Soft, because it can also be used all over, but is not greasy and sinks in pretty quickly.
And I like Nivea Creme Care Shower Cream. It has that same Nivea-Blue-Tin-Smell and just the right amount of lather.
So when I saw this last week, I had to try it. It has the same Nivea smell, is not greasy and you can wipe it off. I like to wash my face in the morning (wash off cleanser) and remove my makeup in the evenings with wipe off cleanser.
This fits the bill – reasonably priced, no-frills, no fake promises, and does what is says.

I have been using the Nivea Creme Care Eye Make Up remover since it came out in April and I absolutely love it. It is really gentle for the eye area and perfectly removes eye (even waterproof mascara) make up without leaving any residue.
I think I have found the product I need for my ultra sensitive eyes!
Wow I have not seen this before. Sounds like just what I need – I battle to find makeup remover that does mot sting or leave my eyes oily. Thanks Nathalie!

It was Nivea in our house too, including the soap. A bit boring once I got to teenage years and beyond, but some products we still use today.
Did you have Old Spice in your house too Steve? I still love that smell and the shape of the bottles.
Yes, my first aftershave. I love the bottle still, and it is an iconic smell. It’s becoming popular again. I use four these days, all more expensive and I’m sure one is a lady’s haha, Habit Rouge from Guerlain. Try it when you’re in a department store sometime, I think you would like it.
