This is a custom made Van Der Spek Manager from 1994 or so, in Cognac Italian leather. I bought it on Dutch eBay in January 2014 (filled with 1994/5 inserts) and have used it ever since. The first six months or so it went with me to work every day, but since I switched to smaller sizes, it has been on my desk, holding all the paperwork relating to my home.
Van Der Spek no longer offers this colour, but they do offer a very similar colour in the same leather, called Brandy.
OMG! Did this binder last 23 years? What quality! I love it when I hear that something actually lasts these days. Awesome.
There is nothing like Van der Spek Italian leather! I have a personal brandy/acacia VDS, and I just love it!
It’s a shame this leather isn’t available any more. I adore my brandy organiser, but would rather like a matching one in cognac!
