Just to say I am fine!

I have received some emails and comments asking whether I am okay after the terror attack in central Stockholm today.

I am so very happy to report that, after being evacuated from the building at about 3.15pm, I am fine. I was actually saved by these bad boys! I stopped to buy planner charms at the Palace on the way to do my grocery shopping and was thus late leaving the store which the truck hit. If I had been leaving at the time I usually leave, the truck would have been driving through the front of the building at the same time as I was walking out.

I went into shock afterwards and I had to walk home as the whole of the centre of Stockholm was closed down. Those were the worst 2.5 hours of my life!

Thank you so much for thinking of me. It means a lot!

  1. Janet, thanks for letting us know you are not hurt. You and your beautiful country are in my thoughts.

  2. Happy to hear everything is fine for you! My sister lives in Stockholm too and it took a while to have her message. She´s fine too <3

  3. I just turned on the news and saw the tragic goings-on over in Stockholm. I immediately thought of you and opened my laptop, and just as I was pulling up a new email, this one of yours dropped in. This world is spinning off its axis, I swear. I’m so glad you’re okay. I think I’ll go buy some lucky dice now. <3

  4. Unreal isn’t it. I was in London one week after the attack there, I was going to be there on that date to see The cursed child play with my daughter. When I bought the tickets over a year ago those were the first ones to be offered, the Wednesday and Thursday night but I decided to search again got the following week and just took those. Not saying I would have been on the bridge at that time but who knows. Glad you’re ok. Awful what these terrorists are doing to innocent people.

  5. So glad you are doing well! I immediately thought of you when this happened and was hoping you would not be anywhere around where this happened. Hold tight to those charms!…
