I hope each and every one of my readers has a wonderful New Year’s Day and that 2017 will be full of love and light, health and happiness, and that all your hopes and dreams for the next 365 days come true.

2016 was a bad year for so many. Celebrities have died in great numbers, Brexit and the US election caused great emotions and upheaval, there were plane crashes, terror attacks, wars, unrest, and the world seemed to be in so much pain.  So many friends of mine have lost family members, both human and furry.

In 2016, my fridge died, my MacBook died, my phone died, my beloved Paddy died, my wonderful niece, Kat, lose her brave battle with cancer, my other two cats both became very sick, and certain people in my life didn’t behave very well – though karma got them for me, no measures necessary on my part!

So if any of my readers have had a bad year I send along virtual hugs and good vibes for a wonderful 2017. If you had a great 2016, I wish you an even better 2017.

Happy new year!

  1. Dear Janet, Happy New Year to you too and thank you for brightening up my days with your posts. I am looking forward to a brand new year full of happiness and health for all those I love and care for. Thank you and Rock on!

  2. yes, this was a bad year. so much death….the great unknown. i didn’t lose anyone but have a
brother who is causing me pain & aggravation. karma there has not stepped in. i wish you and
everyone else well in the coming year. we deserve the goodness that god has promised us.

  3. Sorry for all your losses in 2016. Hope 2017 is a better year in that regard and other ways too.

Have really enjoyed reading your posts this past year. They are usually very helpful and informative as well. Have learned of many new resources for binders, journals, etc. that I doubt I would have found out about elsewhere. Sometimes they are just fun reads and that is great too. As often, they come when I could use a smile and pleasant diversion from some of the s*#% I often deal with at work. 🙂

Keep up the great work. Look forward to more great posts from you in 2017!
