It will grow darker every day for another 10 days or so and then things will turn! I actually love the darkness. I think it is very cosy. But I have to admit, it is hard to get up in the mornings when it is pitch dark until about 9am!

I don’t know how you cope Janet. It’s dark enough in England with sunrise at 08:11. I’m counting down the days til next Wednesday, and then I feel like a different person. So depressing!
Hi Janet….I’m from Melbourne, Australia and we are currently in daylight savings and the nights here have been balmy with beautiful sunsets as we live by the beach. The sound of the cicadas is amazing. Can’t imagine what it must be like experiencing darkness until 9 in the morning, even in the midst of our winter it gets dark at 6pm and is light by 7am. We are so lucky where we live!!!
