Rockin’1000 gathered 1,000 singers, guitarists, percussionists and even bagpipe players in Cesana, Italy to pay tribute to Bowie by performing the late musician’s song simultaneously.

and below is Bowie’s video of the song. Interestingly, many people think he is in character as Ziggy Stardust in this video, but this was Hallowe’en Jack, his last glam rock persona. It was Bowie himself, not Mick Ronson, who played guitar on this very Rolling Stones type song.
