Well it arrived – all the way from Wales to Sweden in just two working days! And I love it! Thank you Elrohir Leather!
I don’t usually use Field Notes size but I stumbled upon it last week after a Really Bad Day, and it was so beautiful I just had to – plus it had interior pockets which make such a huge difference. And look at it! How could I not?
Turns out it had only been listed for a minute when I spotted it, and in another few minutes Mischa was going to take it down and keep it for herself. It’s not often I’m that lucky! Thank you Mischa!
The leather is really nice and thick and stiff, which I love. I know there are lots of people who really like floppy leather, but I am not one of them. I like leather to start out really stiff and then soften and shape itself to my inserts as I use it.
The interior pockets of this cover remain in their natural shape which gives the cover an even more organic feel.
The colours are amazing. These photographs really do not do this cover justice. Unfortunately Sweden at this time of year is dark All.The.Time so we live in permanent gloom. My camera phone does not cope well with twilight. But you can see from these pics that it is a lovely cover. The colours are rich and the leather is just a perfect canvas for them. The embossing is perfect and the fact that it carries over to the interior pockets is just the cherry on the top.
The insert booklets are super-duper too. There are two lovely pale minty green ones and two cream ones. The booklets are all fat, and the paper is divine. The colours of the paper match the theme of the book and it is so nice to actually get books in the cover. It does not happen often but when it does, it is something so very special.
Gosh, this is awfully nice. Seriously tempted to keep it! 😮
It is a lovely very solid leather green and brown ombre Field Notes/ Pocket size fauxdori, complete with two inner pockets, edge stitching, and four kraft bound parchment and pale green inserts!

It measures 4 x 6 ins or 11 x 16.5cm approx.
It is refillable with Moleskine Pocket or Field Notes books, which are 14 x 9 cm or 3.5 x 5.5 ins.
There are four green elastics and currently it is well-stuffed with four books, two in cream 90gsm parchment, and two in pale green plain paper 😀 Fine for ink pens too.
It is carved front and back, and on the front pocket with our seagrass design.
Tee two stitched in pockets are on the front and back covers and both have a lovely irregular deckle from the edge of the hide! 😀

I got a Petit Prince in the A6 size. I Love the blue metallic colour of the sky and also that there is a fairytale behind the motive 😻
