This beauty was designed and made by a fantastic silversmith I know who can work magic in silver. Most jewellers will not size or repair silver but this man can do it all. He learned the craft when he was very young and has been working with silver for decades.
This ring is made of carved silver and brass. It can be used as a scarf ring, a pendant and two kinds of rings. If you flip the rings the stone changes from clear/purple to black. The light side is clear and colourless under artificial light, and purple in natural light.
It is very old and has been incredibly hardy.
i think so yes, you can make real nice details and it’s not that hard to do. people who work with fimo a lot can deffinitly do this too!
I have a beautiful rose ring that was made using the wax casting method. It is one of my favourites as well.
i can make silver juwelery too but i work with a technique where you first make the piece in wax 🙂
Wax casting is the best method, isn’t it?
