Pen Store, Stockholm

Spent some time this morning browsing in Pen Store on Hornsgatan in Stockholm. I live nearby and if I buy from their webshop (which has a larger selection) the items appear for collection in the shop a few hours later. They also have free shipping for orders over 500 SEK, and speedy shipping for an extra 10 SEK. Their returns policy is generous and they do not quibble. Returns are quick and easy, especially if you return to the shop.

I bought some dotted Leuchtturn1917 A4 notebooks and a Rhodia spiral A5 pad, but I always love looking at all the Nuuna notebooks – today they had one that glowed in the dark and another one that changed colour when it got hot!

What I really enjoy about Penstore that they have a nice basic collection of art supplies, pens and notebooks. Minimal and cool. No washi, no stickers, no decoration. Just simple basic supplies and really unusual brands.

  1. Wish I had a store like this nearby….have one that’s similar, but not as extensive stock as this one…..

    1. It’s a really nice shop. I like how they have not gone for the sticker/washi decorative aspect but offer simple clean tools for designers and artists (and maybe an architect or two ;)). Yet it is not quite an artist supply shop either. A perfect blend of both.
