I grew up by the sea so I really love being so close to so much water. I can get to work by boat, bus, tram or underground – all on the same ticket! So it is like living in the country but only 15 minutes away from the centre of the city.
Beautiful view Janet. There is something so calming to the senses when one gazes at the water.
When I lived by the sea in South Africa I used to love looking at the waves. The sea is so enormous and so eternal that it makes all your problems look tiny. I loved that. The sound of the waves was so soothing too. Nothing like it.
