Byredo Handbags

GustavAlmestal_WSJ3I have written about Byredo perfumes before here. I really do like Byredo perfumes. They are not cheap, but when you are buying Byredo you are buying artisanal quality perfume. Not for expensive advertising campaigns, famous people to put their names on them, packaging or the name of the giant cosmetic companies fronting them.

Byredo, which is a Swedish company, also does leather products and their bags are just too divine for words!

Below is their concession in the NK department store in Stockholm. I just took a photo with my iPhone so it is not great, but I had a good feel and sniff of all the goodies and I was in heaven!

You cannot really see it in my less-than-stellar photographs, but there is a cobalt blue handbag on the bottom right of the shelving below and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!

Sadly for me, their products are priced very high. As an example, the small backpack is about $3245 and the large one is $4205. The leather is tanned in France and produced in Italy.

They also do small leather goods and sunglasses, which can all be found on their website here.

  1. Oh my goodness those bags are stunning. Not in my budget either, but wonder if used bags ever come up on eBay? Have never tried the perfumes. They are sold at Neiman’s or Barney’s here in the States, maybe Saks. Can’t wait to check them out now. I’m as crazy about perfumes as I am shoes, handbags and planners. Always learn about so many fun things on your blog Janet.

    1. The perfumes are gorgeous! I use Byredo Gypsey Water and have done for a few years now. As far as I know the leather items are a recent addition but will be looking out for pre-loved from now on! The leather is absolutely sublime. I am not a backpack person but their backpacks are beautiful!

  2. After you and I had talked about this I looked up their stuff and you are right!! They are way out of my price bracket. I do want to get one of their perfumes, the one called Mojave Ghost, I’m going to have to save the money for it though.
