This is a bag I will never own because of the eyewatering price but I really really love the style and the design. The leather is beautiful, the design is minimal but very striking, and the combination of red and gold on the handles is too beautiful for words. There is a shoulder strap that attaches to gold hooks inside the bag.
I was never a fan of the Prada nylon bags as I felt they were overpriced but you cannot go wrong with their leather bags. Or even their diffusion line, MiuMiu.
Interestingly, if you see a star in Prada at a gala, awards ceremony or event, they have paid for it themselves. All other designers dress stars for free but Prada never does. Or so I have heard, more than once.
I agree with you they are a beauty!!!! Have you considered trying to get one pre-loved? Depending on the bag sometimes that is the only way I can afford one.
I love the simplicity of the design, it will become a classic over time and will not look dated because of the additional things they have used to make the bag.
And in real life they are just stunning. You just look at the bag and know it is supremely high quality. Even though it has very little detailing, it is so very very striking.

I disagree with the fact they are overpriced. They are made in the best leathers, fully lined and totally intemporal in their design. When you compare a Prada bag to a Mulberry Bayswater for instance, l personally consider the Mulberry overpriced as the leather id thick and lacks sophistication, it has no lining and the derails are heavy looking. This can also apply to other brands too!
Once you’ve owned a Prada bag you understand the difference between class and trend.
