I had a really busy day yesterday. It seemed like it would never end. With the help of coffee and my lovely clients though, I enjoyed every minute of it.
03.50 – woke up and started to translate an urgent document which had come in late last night. When it comes to things like official statements and press releases, they have to go out almost immediately.
06.00 – breakfast, showered, printed out documents I needed for today. Checked calendar.
07.00 to 08.00 – meeting (Parliamentary Committtee on Taxation)
08.00 to 09.00 – meeting (Parliamentary Committee on Defence)
09.15 to 10.45 – meeting (Parliamentary Committee on Social Insurance)
11.00am to 12.00 – meeting (Parliamentary Committee on EU Affairs)
12.15 to 16.00 – translation (at this point I was so tired I almost burst into tears)
16.15 to 17.45 – meeting (Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs)
18.00 to 19.00 – meeting (Parliamentary Committee on Culture)
19.00 to 21.00 – interpretation at an evening event
22.00 – finally home!
Necessities were:
* water
* comfortable shoes (flat riding boots)
* my organiser (for taking notes and seeing where I was going to be next)
* a bag that carried a lot but could be thrown about. Read more about this Lush bag here
* coffee!

That bag! And, wow, what a day. All those meetings would make me antsy.
That sounds like a great and busy day. Thanks for organization keeping things straight.
I so enjoy reading about your day! Thank you.
I think you need that Il Bisonte bag to help out on days like this. 😄
You know me too well!
I had the feeling l was reading one of my days except that l don’t spend hours at meetings but at the EU interpreting and most of my days end up in a plane back home or in a taxi back to a hotel for a well deserved night.
I envy you being able to carry such a big bag. My shoulder hurts so much some days that l had to downsize my bag and carry the minimum. I even had to give up on personal planners and start using my pockets for personal stuff.
Hope you have a quiet and relaxing week-end before an other crazy week.
Thank you Nathalie and the same to you!
That was a tough day!…
Phew !
LOVE your bag and your beautiful Janet leather VdS!!! Thank you for sharing your day with us!
Your day makes me dizzy! PLEASE make sure to bring this binder to the June meet-up!
I will! This is the first Janet Leather binder ever!
