This INK notebook matches the Il Bistone Insider organiser and comes with grid refills
The paper in the refills is thin (but not Tomoe River thin) and light with fairly small squares which I like. I find wide grid a bit too wide for my liking. The leather is sublime and will age beautifully.
This notebook will fit A5 refills and has an integral pen holder.
I got this from the Il Bistone online shop and it came via UPS from Italy. What a painless shipping experience. I was updated every step of the way, even when the trailer was delayed. Plus the driver rang me to check where he should leave the parcel and let me know when he was a few minutes away.

There is a pretty good sized one on their website called Margaret but, it has a pretty large price tag with it as well.
I looked at the men’s ones as well – the backpacks – but those price tags send me screeching into the distance!
A5 is my favourite size and that looks really classy. The way it ages is astonishingly beautiful.
Amazing to see progression of leather patina on the undyed leather…..so, rich looking and full of character after some years…..

The leather strap seems quite long….does it ever get in the way?
I have not used it yet but I use wrap notebooks and clasp Filofaxes so I am hoping not!
