These puppies belong to my cousin Mandy, who lost her boy Voorslag Tau II suddenly a few months ago, on 30th August 2015. In the midst of her heartbreak, it was discovered that Mandy’s girl, Hunter’s Valley Lea, was expecting puppies by Tau.
And here they are, 14 puppies born Monday 12 October. Voorslag Tau II (Voorslag Sabrina x Meester Rommel) Hunters Valley Lea (Lowen Rosie x Bellbusk Janneman). Seven girls and seven boys! A fifteenth puppy was lost shortly after the birth.
Granny Rosie stepped in to help mother Lea along the way and among the litter was a mini-Tau, now known as Hunter’s Valley Tau. Voorslag Tau will live on in his many many puppies and is probably smiling down somewhere thinking ‘you will never forget me’
And baby Hunter’s Valley Tau
They are so cute and the biggest puppies I have every seen. I am so glad that he left such a wonderful memory for everyone.
It is so wonderful for Mandy to have the puppies, as she was absolutely heartbroken. They were unusually big but the breed can be up to 200lbs when fully grown so that is a lot of dog indeed!
Absolutely adorable! I rushed upstairs to show my boyfriend because these photos are just so sweet between Voorslag Tau and Grandma Rosie! Best post ever!
Oh heavens! I feel broody now! They are all gorgeous!
Aren’t they gorgeous? Imagine all that puppy breath. Though they will grow up to weigh one and half tons!
