Legami Medium Weekly + Daily 12 month diary

When I worked at a desk and had to coordinate paper calendars with other staff members, this is what I used. It is a Legami Medium Weekly + Daily 12 month diary in purple and red. A perfect desk calendar for someone like me.

I like vertical week on two pages so that I can see all my bookings for the week at a glance. I like having the time on each day so that I don’t have to keep looking back to Monday to find my bearings. Many calendars just have the time on Monday and the rest are blank.

The problem with vertical week on two pages is that they often do not have much space for notes and lists at the bottom of the columns. This ingenious solution combines one week on two page vertical calendar and then one half a page for notes for each day. This is done by having the pages loose and independent of each other.

The reason I stopped using this calendar was because I started working out in the field and this format does not lend itself to being opened and closed every fifteen minutes because you tend to constantly be flipping back and forward to find the right page. The schedule and notes flip their position on the page every other week so it is not that easy to constantly move back and forth.  It is best as a desk calendar.

But it is brilliant as one. Absolutely stellar. And the colours are always nice as well. I have had turquoise and pink, green and hello and purple and red.
