As regular readers know, I collect Vintage five year diaries. This one comes from Etsy and is from 1940 to 1945. It was probably manufactured in 1939.
These vintage five-year diaries are generally much higher quality than diaries you can find today, relatively cheap and not too hard to find if you are patient.
