Removing Facial Cleansers, Masks, and Balms

I usually like to remove cleansers and masks with clean hands if possible but sometimes it is not that easy – for example in the case of

For these I tend to use a Demologica cloth, Eve Lom or Liz Earle muslin cloths, or a plain towelling face cloth. The muslin and towelling cloths provide gentle exfoliation as well. I have quite a few so I use each one once and then put them in the weekly wash with the towels and sheets.

It is a really nice feeling to hold a warm damp cloth over your face for a few seconds and then really wipe the product thoroughly away.

Many other brands do muslin cloths – for example Soap and Glory – but you can buy muslin and make your own much more cheaply if you are handy. The Dermalogica cloth is like a chamois leather – hard when dry and soft when wet. Not exfoliating at all. So if you have sensitive skin this may be better for you.
