I arrived home yesterday to find an interesting looking envelope on my doormat. A tintillatingly puffy one from a country far away.
And look!
It was a surprise for me from Mindy C – she knows me well. A gorgeous handwritten card full of sentiment that really moved me, a card with a cat called Joy on it. ‘Joy’ is my middle name, after my mother. And three gorgeous little items:
- A ‘Love Me Love My Cat’ charm which is going on my charm bracelet
- A little bug dangly charm which is now on my beloved undyed binder
- And a little bug charm with a story about the bumble bee. I was so eager to open the parcel (yep, that’s me!) that I tore it but have now fixed it and it is in my binder where I can look at it every day. Because of this saying I have a tattoo of a bumble bee on my hip so this meant a lot to me! The little charm will come with me every day.
