Petra very kindly photographed every step of the production process of my three custom Longchamp/Louis Vuitton leather standard size binders so that I could write about them and show the process for my readers and for other VDS customers.
I ordered the same design as my undyed leather binder, because that has worked really really well – so that is:
- lots of horizontal credit card pockets front and back inside covers
- ring protectors
- 30mm rings
- fly leaf
- secretarial pockets front and back
AND this time – full length back pockets! The PERFECT binder!
I am a paying customer just like anyone else and I experienced, once again, the wonderful service and communication from Petra which makes the whole process even more special. And added bonus for me is that I have personally met everyone who has contributed to the production of the organizers.
And as for JP Frumau – the cutter – look at that colour coordinated outfit, that smile and most of all the twinkle in his eye!
STUNNING!
very impressed by the two old men’s work and this workshop~~
they are van der spek standards?
I am in love with the craftsmanship! Your binders are turning out absolutely wonderful. Thank you for sharing this process.
I love them! how much did you pay for each one, if it’s not a secret? just curious to see for how long would I have to save up 🙂
I am not sure because you pay for the basic binder and then extra for each added option.
I need that green one in my life.
Oh my goodness, I can’t even handle it! Those are perhaps the most stunning VDS binders I’ve seen yet! Someday I may have to copy this exact design…
I loved looking at all of the photos of the whole process. I find it absolutely fascinating. What lovely leather and beautiful binders.
