My two new Van Der Spek Touch Mes

I have a black A5 and a brown standard in the Van Der Spek Touch Me so I have ordered a brown A5 and a black standard. It’s at times like these that I like having two full time jobs so I can afford nice things! I have ordered these with big rings (30mm in standard/personal size and 35mm in A5)

I like pebbly and grainy because I feel they stand up better to hard use and wear. And so Petra sent me a choice. I have chosen the RIGHT hand option in both cases! What do you think? Which would you choose?

  1. Would it be possible for you to do a post showing the VDS inserts? I’d like to see the sizes compared to each other, to see what is changed/lost as you go up or down in size. Thank you.

    1. I found all the pages together on VDS site, don’t know how I missed it. Still can’t decide on A5 or Standard Touch Me. Thanks for all your posts, they are very helpful.

      1. VDS don’t automatically come with inserts so you have to specially order them with your binder. However, they are the same inserts as Paul Smith, Aspinal, Raika and Gillio. I have quite a few of the general inserts and they are very well designed and in lovely cream paper with subtle brown text. The A5 inserts are not quite A5 size though but a bit narrower, from what I remember. I really can recommend them. I particularly like the Memo paper and the notepaper.
