This baby will be on its way to me by the time this post is published. It is a navy blue Filofax Kensington in personal size. I already have a black one which I adore and have been wanting to buy another one for a while now. I really love this model. It has it all (as you can see from my previous posts) and is reasonably priced. Most of them have square corners but there are one or two floating around with rounded corners.
This came from my favorite ebay seller, bouteia
- Very well designed for use as a wallet – a flap for notes, a zipped pocket for coins, lots of horizontal credit card slots.
- Gorgeous soft leather – I don’t usually go crazy for soft leather but this is extraordinary. Soft and squishy and very huggable. At the same time it is not delicate or floppy and will wear well.
- Light – when you carry a binder everywhere and use it intensively as a wallet AND organizer it is going to be solid. So the lighter the binder the better.
- Cheap – these go for between €10 and €36 on eBay, shipping excluded. Shipping is usually about €12
I love it. It lays flat and wraps around the contents like a hug. The rings are tight as drums and from the older generation where they did not give trouble.
Oh Janet thats the planner of my dreams. I’ve been looking for one for so long. How lucky you are to own two!

I used to have one years ago and it got lost. I have always wanted to replace it but sadly never found any for sale.
I do not despair though and keep looking!

Susanna D got about four from Bouteia on eBay (where I got mine) so you could perhaps ask them if they have any more and if they would put it up on Buy It Now for you. They also go up for sale in the Vintage Filofax Group now and then. We will find you one 🙂
I emailed Bouteia yesterday as soon as l read your post. I keep my fingers crossed they will have some more. A red or a brown in personal size would be ideal but l wouldn’t mind any other colour. I would even consider a pocket. As long as it is a Kensington in good condition l’d be more than happy!
