Someone asked me the other day which handbag organizer I like the best.
My favorite is the VIP, though I do have several Inpaq organizers in different sizes.
You put them inside your handbag and as you change handbags you just lift the liner (as they are sometimes called) out and put them into your new bag. They can also be used to keep your Filofax and stationery together.
And of course if you do an eBay search for handbag organizer you will get lots of hits, as can be seen when I did a search for a purple one here. As you can see, you can find them for as little as £1 with free postage. Quality varies and many of them do not have padded bottoms but if you are not sure if you would get on with a handbag liner/organiser, it is nice to start with a cheapie to use on a trial run.
Where can you get the Inpaq organizer nowadays? I have one and it’s quite old and I would like to replace it, but can’t find it anywhere anymore. The other ones seem to large and heavy.
I have a couple of spare ones if you let me know what size you use. I have a large and a medium I think, both brand new.
My old one is quite small, width c. 22 cm and height c. 17 cm, and the thickness depends on the stuff inside:) The size is handy because it fits in the smaller purses as well. Would this be the medium or are there three sizes?
I am not sure if there were two or three sizes. I have two of them and I think yours is probably the bigger one of the two I have. I will measure mine later this week when I have a moment and then let you know. I definitely have one spare of each size.

May I ask… where did you buy the VIP organiser? I just bought one on eBay and the quality is so so bad. The VIP one look really robust 🙂
I bought mine in a local shop so I was lucky enough to be able to feel it beforehand. They are very sturdy and hardwearing.
I’ve tried so hard to use these. I just can’t seem to manage. So now I just use smaller bags to keep stuff so I can easily change out bags.
I’ve got several of these, but two of them are quite heavy canvas, which put me off using them. I need to get back in the habit – or use the lighter one – as I’ve had a couple of incidents where I’ve changed handbags and left something vital in the other bag!
I often do that with my travel card. Squirrel it away in a pocket of another bag somewhere which I only realize as the bus is approaching…
