JP Books, London

I love JP Books in London. It is hard to find if you don’t have a map (I always thought it was in Regent Street, I have no idea why) but it is minutes away from Piccadilly Circus. It is a small store with Midori and  Japanese stationery.

I went there with Rita and Sharon when I was in London and this is what I got:

Little cat charm. It had a gold bell on it but I don't like the noise they make so I removed it.

Folding Ruler. This would go into the pocket of an A5 Gillio Mia Cara or an A5 Malden

The cat charm came in a lovely envelope and above that are Midori cat charms. They had all kinds but I loved the cats the most

2 Midori A5 notebooks with 'leather paper' covers under plastic covers. I got one pink and one black but they also had grey, brown, blue, and greens of various shades.

  1. Hi Janet, It is one of my favourite stores too, they did used to be on Regent Street – in Mitzukiku, the Japanese department store, but that closed so they moved to Denman Street – I was so pleased to find them again & always stock up on Midori items when I visit – they do a great loyalty card too!

    1. Oh I am so glad to hear that! And also the rest of your explanation which reveals why I remember it being so very much bigger! I thought I was going mad!

  2. Good haul! I can’t believe how much I got for £50! I could find it from Shaftesbury Avenue again, but perhaps not the other way from the tube!

      1. I’m glad I saved their card! And I discovered that it’s more or less on a bus route to the place I usually stay in London!
