When teaching collective nouns to a class today, I mentioned some of the strange ones – an ostentation of peacocks, a murder of crows, a parliament of owls, a knot of frogs and a skulk of foxes.
That made me wonder what the collective noun for a group of binders would be. What do you think the collective noun for Gillios would be? They are grainy, rich and sumptuous.
I think with the trouble they have had with these last orders is the problem. No one wants to pay the kind of money they cost, wait as long as you have to and the get a planner that has a problem like, glue on edges, zippers not going all he way up and being a different color than the planner, marks on the leather etc. If you have to email Gillio and again wait to get another planner it is a very long process. Just my opinion, but I still love them and will order another one sometime in the future.
Thanks Barb!
I call mine a “team of gillios” 🙂
As far as Gillio are concerned, I would just say “a pile of” Gillios. Sorry l cannot be more positive about those binders and company 🙁
🙂
Care to elaborate, Nathalie?
I didn’t know about a knot of frogs 🙂 Maybe it should be a Splendour of Gillios?
