Blax Hair Elastics

I have long thick curly hair and have battled to find elastics to suit me. I started out with knicker elastic, moved to pantyhose cut into strips, then tried scrunchies, bungees and am now a convert to Blax.

For Scrunchies nowadays I use leather Rokit scrunchies which don’t have the eighties vibe to them. These I only use during the day. My favourites are electric blue and metallic grey, but I also have oxblood, brown and black ones.

The rest of the time I use Blax hair elastics – they are snagless, ouchless and last forever. They don’t stretch or snap so the only way you are likely to lose one is if you…well…lose one. They come in black, brown and transparent colours, and 2mm and 4mm widths. I like the transparent ones in 4mm width. Easy to find on the internet.

  2. I love Blax. Started using them about a year and a half ago and never looked back. Don’t use anything else and have never had a problem with them.

  3. Even though it says snagless, from the images I don’t know if I trust the Blax elastics. I have thick 3C hair I usually have a hard time managing. I use hair ties like these:

Half the time I just put it in a braid while air drying to lessen the curl.
