Northern Sweden is now two weeks into six weeks of Midnight Sun – constant daylight, where the sun never sets. In six months we will be pitched into total darkness for six weeks to two months, when the sun will not rise. Myself, I want to sleep all winter and I cannot sleep all summer so I don’t know how Swedes manage to be so industrious and have such a developed country!
