which are pronounced the same but differ in meaning, origin, and sometimes
spelling.”

For example:

Homonyms are words that have the same sound and often the same spelling but differ in meaning, such as the noun bear and the verb bear,

Homographs are words that have the same spelling but differ in origin, meaning,
and sometimes pronunciation.
