Robyn P has kindly allowed me to use her Raika planner photographs in this post.
I had heard about Raika but never paid much notice until I saw these pictures, and the price. I then went and looked at the different leathers available and fell in love.
Robyn says:
I wanted to share with you guys something different. I received this today and I am so impressed with the quality and functionality. This is a Raika 6 ring agenda (equivalent to a Filofax personal), and there are 50 different leather options available! The rings are 1″. The pocket layout is extremely well thought out and the inserts are very high quality. It is handcrafted in the USA. Someone had posted about Raika here and I ordered it (actually two of them) on a whim. I could not be happier so thought I would share.
Here is the website and below is a photograph of the different leathers available.
And another link to buy here, and below, their colour swatches:
Robyn got hers here. With a 10% discount she paid….wait for it…. $100 each. Now isn’t that a bargain for the beauties below?
And below are photographs of Robyn’s binders – a VI 201 COGNAC (which is pebbled) and an NI 201 BONE. Look at that full length back pocket!
Below are the swatches ValsPrettyGlam ordered. Apparently you can only order three at a time. These are python in turquoise, charcoal and brown. Thank you Val for letting me use them in this post!
Janet do you have any idea if the Raika binder will fit the Franklin Covey medium inserts without smashing the tabs?
I am not sure to be honest. I have never used Franklin Covey. Though maybe now is the time to start – for research purposes of course!
Lovely. 🙂
After seeing Robyn’s post on Facebook I was already dreaming of the magenta option. But I could stop myself from buying yet another binder. I really want to stick to what I’ve got to finally find a home in my binders and get rid of what is just too much. But honestly, these binders look gorgeous.
Wow! Gorgeous! I will add it to my list.
This is so exciting! I just wish the swatches included real pics like above! Thanks for sharing!!!
Janet, I think I’d be disappointed if you didn’t get at least one of these! They look lovely. My only question is which colour and finish will you go for? 😀
I think the huge choice will be my saving grace – I wouldn’t be able to choose! I love the exotic ones – maybe brown alligator embossing?
