HOTD #38 and #39 – Vanilla Paris Bags

I have always loved Vanilla Paris on King’s Road in London. I found them first in the late nineties when they were doing copies of Mulberry’s Roxanne bag. They used to also do Sienna Miller’s boho belts and faux fur gilets. The shop is pretty unassuming, tucked away in a corner of a rather depressing little centre. Their website is here. They also used to do custom orders. I am not sure if they still do. The quality is absolutely brilliant. Apart from the bags which have a Hermés ‘H’ on them, they are not mirror fakes. They have no logos or branding on them.

I recently bought these two on a ‘two for a special offer’ deal. I think I saved about £50. In this style I like stiff leather with gold hardware and love orange and purple, hence the choice I made.  They do have these bags in softer leather with different colour hardware. They also have bags inspired by Tods, Balenciaga Le Dix, Bayswater, Roxanne, and various Hermés interpretations. As well as the Ostrich which I have, they also have gorgeous croc print leathers. This size is £99 and the larger size is £125. The extra large size with better leather is £199.
