HOTD #27 – InWear tote

photo-13

I have taken two photos of this bag from slightly different angles so you can see the pockets on both sides.

This is one of the best designed bags I own. If I ever have another bag made to my specs I will use this one as a basis. You can’t get them anymore and I wish I had bought the grey version as well.

Description

A large tote in soft leather with heavy duty zippers along the front and back plus one inside. Two side pockets and two front pockets. Shoulder straps which are wide and soft. Buckles on the side to increase and reduce the size of the bag. Very light to carry. Feet on the bottom

Pros

Beautifully designed, versatile, enormous but not heavy. Can be used as overnight bag, handbag, book bag, travel bag. Comfortable straps. Very soft leather. Strong magnetic top closure. It is probably the largest bag I own but doesn’t look enormous.

Cons

The straps are a bit long to carry in your hand. The light colour shows a lot of denim transfer. The leather has shown some wear.

This bag cost about £100. Because I use my bags so much I don’t mind paying for a good one. I literally carry my bag about 12km a day. Because of my job have it with me ALL the time. I travel from one end of the world to the other with my bags, and then they have to serve me while I am walking around foreign countries. They carry my lunch, my Filofax, warmer clothes, books, inside shoes (when it is snowy outside), all my papers, water etc.
