Often if I am contemplating buying an expensive bag I buy an inspired or similar design and use it for at least a couple of months to see how I get on with it. Is it too heavy? Does everything end up in a jumble at the bottom of the bag? Is it hard to get into and out of if I need to pay for something in a shop? Does it fit A4? Are the straps too long or too short? Do the straps slip off my shoulder? Is it too wide or too tall? Can I travel with it? These are not always things you can check when you are looking at the bag in a shop.
So the site I usually use for this is Lush . I love this site because
- Excellent service
- Quick shipping (3 days maximum)
- Huge discounts if you are a regular (free bags, 60% discounts)
- Good sales
- Good prices
- Great quality
- They sell under their own logo and their bags are not represented as designer bags
The only downside is that the company is based in the US but the bags are sent from China. So if something goes wrong or you are not happy it is quite a mission to return the bag. I have never had a problem though. Not once! I still have all these bags though I should maybe think of selling some. Writing these posts has made me realise how many I have!
So for today I am going to give a list of the Lush bags I have bought and whether I bought a real one. And if not, why not.
