Thelins Bakery Factory Shop

Thelins is one of the best bakeries in Stockholm and has shops and kiosks all over town.

I am lucky to live very close to their bakery. It is in this very unprepossessing building. At present it is being renovated, it is under a large flyover and the day was very grey.

BUT, to the far right of the building where you see Thelins written on the windows and some chairs outside, is a little piece of heaven. It is the bakery’s factory shop. Full of delicious beverages (and the most wonderful latte in town), freshly made bread, pastries, cakes and sandwiches hot and cold. At brilliant prices. There is nothing better for me than to buy my lunch on my way into work or grab a steaming latte to wake and warm me on a cold day like the one above. The shop is tiny but there are four tables inside where you can sit with a free coffee and wait for the cake you ordered to be ready from the bakery next door. Or have lunch or a snack.
