Eldad Hagar and Hope for Paws

Eldad Hagar and his wife Audrey run Hope for Paws,  a non-profit animal rescue organization. They rescue dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters. The goal is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society.

Eldad has the most soothing voice and can calm the most distressed or traumatised animal. He has a trademark cheerful red patterned ‘Lucky Leash’ which he gently places around suffering animals’ necks as he brings them into a new life of food, shelter, love and forever family.

I have chosen my favourite three ‘Eldad’ stories – Fiona, Cadence and Miley. All have happy endings, but have the tissues ready anyway.

I have featured Cadence before here. For readers who have not seen it before, here is her video

Next up is Fiona

And last is Miley, who was found looking like this.

Three days later she gave Eldad his first kiss. Look how young she looks – she is just a year old.

But after just ten days has a new friend and a lovely cosy bed to sleep on – see a short video here and a longer one below

Cadence and Fiona both have wonderful forever homes now. Miley is still recovering. As soon as she is well enough, she will go to live with a foster family, after which I just know she will find a forever home.

Eldad can be found at Hope for Paws, on Facebook, Flickr and Instagram.
